"With a broken heart, I hesitate to share that I lost my sweet man on Sunday night/yesterday morning. @amoretheheartnosedcat was sick for the past few months and was so strong and patient through health problems and surgery. I spent a lot of time at home this summer so that I could be there for him as he's always been there for me. Amore will forever be in my heart and soul. We were kindred spirits and best friends. He always greeted me when I came home from a trip and made sure I got up early (to feed him). I learned so much from Amore and his unconditional love. His partnership and friendship is like no other. When you open your soul and your spirit to our animal friends, the bond you will experience is what no human can provide. Unconditional love with no judgment. PURE LOVE. The things Amore taught me have changed my outlook and this experience has made me even more patient than before and has made me even more clear on what's really important in life. The clarity I've walked away with is beyond what I had before and the realistic approach I've taken to what really matters has elevated my sense of being in the everyday. Because this is the hardest loss I've experienced in my adult life, I'm dedicating this Fashion Week to Amore to give me strength because he was the best and I'm going to give my best in honor of him. Thank you to all of my sweet friends and family for supporting me and understanding the strength of the bond we had/have. Amore's personality was like a very studious and sophisticated man. His spirit will always live on." I photographed Jenny and her sweet heart-nosed Amore almost a year ago. My heart goes out to you, @jennyatwoodsmith  #amoretheheartnosedcat #girlsandtheircats
