Boian Kalchev
Member of the Board of Directors, Finance and Executive Director, bTV Media Group
Boian Kalchev is part of bTV’s team ever since the launch of the station in 2000, when he took the position of CFO. In 2006 he was promoted to Finance Director of News Corporation for Eastern Europe and is involved in the management of the stations, part of the group, in Romania, Serbia, Poland, Turkey and Latvia. After bTV's acquisition by CME in 2010 he is appointed as Deputy Finance Director of bTV Media Group, responsible for the financial management of the combined group of 6 TV channels (bTV, bTV Comedy, bTV Cinema, bTV Lady, bTV Action and RING.BG), all the Web domains and 6 radio platforms (bTV Radio, N-Joy, Z-Rock, Melody, Jazz FM and Classic FM). Since May 2011 Kalchev is Finance and Executive Director and Member of the Board of Directors of the Company.
Boian Kalchev has significant contribution to every aspect of the development and achievements of bTV as the indisputable market leader for the past eleven years.
His career started in Arthur Andersen audit company, where between 1996 and 2000 he specializes in the areas of energy and telecommunications.
In 1996 he graduated from the American University in Bulgaria with a major in Business Administration.
