Vicky Politova
Chairman of the Board of Directors, General and Executive Director, bTV Media Group
Vicky Politova is part of bTV’s team ever since the launch of the station in 2000, when she took the position of General Sales Manager. In 2005 she took over the operational management of the channel and was promoted to Station Manager of bTV, and in October 2006 took the position of General Manager of the channel. After bTV's acquisition by CME in 2010 she is appointed as Chief Operating Officer of bTV Media Group, responsible for the results of the combined group of 6 TV channels (bTV, bTV Comedy, bTV Cinema, bTV Lady, bTV Action and RING.BG), all the Web domains and 6 radio platforms (bTV Radio, N-Joy, Z-Rock, Melody, Jazz FM and Classic FM). Since May 2011 Politova is Chairman of the Board of Directors, General and ExecutiveDirector of bTV Media Group.
Vicky Politova is the most successful TV station manager since the emergence of the private media on the Bulgarian market. Her involvement with the milestones of bTV’s history has been significant and she greatly contributed to the indisputable success of bTV as the number one TV station in Bulgaria for 12 consecutive years.
Her career started in Leo Burnett advertising agency, where between 1996 and 2000 she is a Member of the Board of Directors, as well as Executive Director of the agency.
In 1995 she graduated from the American University in Bulgaria with two majors – Business Administration and Political Science and International Relations. In 2000 she received her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Lincolnshire & Humberside.
