bTV will Broadcast The Bulgarian Christmas Charity Concert on December 25th
The theme of the sixteenth edition will be in support of children with severe illnesses and disabilities

For another consecutive year, bTV Media Group supports The Bulgarian Christmas initiative, which is held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria. This year, bTV will not only support the cause but will also broadcast live the charity concert on December 25th, and will tell the stories of the most vulnerable people in our society - Bulgarian children in need of help.
The launch of this year's campaign was given by President Rumen Radev and partners of The Bulgarian Christmas with a special visit to the Prof. Dr Stoyan Kirkovich University Hospital in Stara Zagora on November 30th.
"It is an honor for us to support The Bulgarian Christmas once again. As a socially responsible media we stand behind the cause, which is not limited to a donation campaign, but gives hope and changes the lives of many Bulgarian children. We wish for another successful campaign to give us countless occasions to tell the stories of more now healed children because each one of us has the power to create good news by helping", said Venelin Petkov, Director of News, Current Affairs and Sports at the launch of the charity initiative. The subject of the sixteenth edition will be the support of children with severe illnesses and disabilities.
Last year's edition of The Bulgarian Christmas managed to raise BGN 2,600,000, which was used to help 505 children and to donate equipment to 22 medical institutions from all over the country.
