Superbrands: bTV Is Once Again Among The Strongest Bulgarian Brands

The eighth edition of Superbrands Bulgaria 2021/2022 starts with an independent study of the consumer segment on the Bulgarian market

An independent study of the consumer segment of the Bulgarian market ranked the Top 20 local and global brands, according to which bTV is one of the two strongest entirely Bulgarian brands, and the global Internet search engine Google once again maintains the leading position among the strongest brands in Bulgaria. The survey is being conducted for the eighth time in a row in Bulgaria, on the occasion of the new edition of the promotional program Superbrands Bulgaria 2021/2022.

Only one other Bulgarian brand - Devin, is in the prestigious Top 20 ranking. For the purposes of the study, the nominated brands were positioned in 27 categories. The global organization grants the right only to qualified brands to participate in the official publication for Bulgaria for 2021/2022.

Participation in the Superbrands promotional program is only at the invitation of the organization.

The methodology of selection and evaluation of brands is universal for all countries implementing the Superbrands program. The selection process is carried out in two stages: by confidential voting of the members of the independent expert jury - the Board of Superbrands Bulgaria, and by national voting of Internet users. This allows the expert opinion to be considered in parallel with the opinion of consumers. Board members do not receive material remuneration, they do not evaluate the brand with which they are associated or brands of their competitors.

Superbrands' partner in conducting the national internet consumer voting is the leading Institute for Market Research GfK Bulgaria.

In the evaluation process, experts and consumers are guided by the definition and criteria of the global organization for Superbrands:

Superbrand is a brand that has built an excellent reputation in its sector and offers significant material and emotional advantages over competitors. These advantages, consciously or unconsciously, are recognized by consumers and they want to have them. A Superbrand must demonstrate:

Quality: Does the brand symbolize the quality of the offered products or services?

Reliability: Does the brand trust, maintain a high standard of products or services?

Difference: Is the brand well known in its sector? Is it successfully differentiated from its competitors? Does it have individuality and values that make it unique in the market?
