The Idea
The battle for victory in "Bulgaria's Got Talent" 2019 got us laughing, moved and inspired. It met us with unprecedented talents, and the competition between them was really fierce. Throughout the season, the fans were excited about who would win and this gave us an idea - to give them another opportunity to determine the fate of the talents. For the first time, they had the power to send an eliminated contestant to the grand finale!
Implementation and Presence of SDI
We made an online vote on a special landing page. In order to create tension, we unlocked the voting for only 24 hours after the end of the last semifinal. We integrated the right partner, and the special SDI Star became the ticket to the finale for one stunning talent!
To make sure that every fan has a chance to bring their favorite back into the game, we had to make sure everyone understood. The hosts Sasho Kadiev and Dani Petkanov announced the voting in all LIVE episodes of "Bulgaria's Got Talent", we flooded Instagram with branded fun backstage stories with Dani Petkanov and the contestants, and used rich media formats.
We supported the communication with posts and stories in the personal Instagram profiles of Dani Petkanov and the radiant Alex Petkanova.
Results
Over 480,000 diehard fans voted for their favorite online in 24 hours - yes, that's over 300 people per minute! Petar Baikov was the talent saved by SDI and the hosts presented him with the award on stage during the grand finale.
