bTV celebrates 26 years, Radio N-JOY - 20 years on the air
The media are marking their anniversaries by expressing gratitude for the trust that has been placed in them, their established leadership and their commitment to growth
On June 1, as is tradition, bTV celebrates its birthday. This year, the media marks 26 years since its founding. From its launch in 2000 to the present day, bTV has established itself as a symbol of modern television in Bulgaria, informing and reporting on the most important and significant events in the country and around the world. With its quality journalism, socially responsible campaigns, and original productions, bTV goes beyond the standard understanding of media, directing public attention, inspiring, and uniting its audience around important causes and social issues. Over the years, the media has established some of the most recognizable news programs, launched iconic journalists and television personalities, and created emblematic current affairs shows and entertainment formats that remain part of the daily lives of millions of viewers and consumers today.
“bTV is much more than a television station - it is a source of reliable information, a venue for meaningful public discourse, and always close to the people. We continue to evolve as a modern multi-platform media outlet - with even higher-quality content, technological innovations, and a strong connection with our audience, which are the foundation of our leadership. We thank our viewers, users, and partners for their trust over all these years.
We are also celebrating the 20th anniversary of Radio N-JOY - yet another source of pride for our radio group. N-JOY has succeeded in building a strong emotional connection with its listeners and establishing itself as a leader among contemporary music radio stations in Bulgaria.
We congratulate the television and radio teams, because it is precisely thanks to their energy and professionalism that we are building upon our strong and recognizable media brands,” said Velimira Petrova, Executive director of bTV Media Group.
bTV is among the industry leaders consistently working to reduce its carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices. Over the years, the television station’s teams have received numerous awards for their journalistic work, as well as for their active role in initiatives related to volunteering and socially significant causes. As part of the international family of CME and PPF Group, bTV continues to invest in technological development, implementing cutting-edge solutions in the fields of augmented reality and artificial intelligence, while adhering to established international standards and best practices from leading media markets around the world.
Today also marks two decades for N-JOY Radio. One of the largest and most beloved music radio stations in Bulgaria, part of the bTV Radio Group, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new slogan - “Your Day. Your music.”, a revamped intuitive website, and a new, dynamic sound package. As the leader among contemporary hit radio stations in Bulgaria, N-JOY continues to develop a modern programming schedule and a 360-degree connection with listeners on the air, online, on social media, and through mobile apps.
Especially for the anniversary, the radio station is launching a celebratory campaign in which listeners can send voice messages with personal stories about how and where they listen to N-JOY and what the radio means to them. Among the station’s key shows are “Good Morning, N-JOY” with Martina and Igrata, "From 10 to 2" with Neya, "Above It All" with VenZy, and "Party Time" with Niki. To mark the birthday, some of Bulgaria’s most popular artists and public figures have sent their special greetings and wishes to their favorite radio station, which will be broadcast throughout the week.
