The national competition, organized by b2b Media, recognizes companies in the private and public sectors that implement green campaigns, initiatives, investments, or programs for sustainable development, as well as those that initiate actions and causes for a healthier environment, between 2024 and 2025. Applications for the competition were accepted from March 31 to April 25 of this year. The ten-member jury, chaired by Nadya Marinova (founder and editor-in-chief of b2b Media), selected the winning companies.

bTV Media Group received a total of 11 awards for its green initiatives, which focus on sustainable consumption, environmental protection, and active civic participation. The company was also recognized as a „Green Media“ for its projects and campaigns within the social brand “The Good Example”, including “Let's Clean Bulgaria Together”, “Green Week”, and “Green Filming”.

Radiana Bozhikova's documentary series “bTV Tells” was honored with two awards for its socially significant work on the topic of children in Uganda. The episodes, together with the accompanying photo exhibition, “Two Sides of Life” featuring photographs by video journalist Dobromir Ivanov, reveal the challenges faced by children in one of the poorest parts of the world with depth and humanity. They also highlight the powerful and transformative role of education.

Stanislava Tsalova, a longtime meteorologist and host of The Weather Forecast on bTV, received the “Green Media Personality” award. This award recognizes her commitment to environmental causes and her role in raising public awareness about nature conservation.

Six bTV editorial team journalists (from btvnovinite.bg, businessnovinite.bg, and Ladyzone.bg) were honored in the “Green Pen” category for their original articles on environmental protection topics. The award-winning editors are Desislava Botseva, Radiana Bozhikova, Melina Vasileva, Rositsa Todorova, Aylin Drikova, and Borislava Kirilova.
