bTV will offer 12 hours of on-air coverage of the first round of local elections in Bulgaria on 29 October

2 election studios, a special edition of “Face to Face” and 9 newscasts will cover the most important of Local Elections 2023

bTV will cover the country's election marathon on 29 October with the active participation of the bTV News, current affairs and digital teams. Presenters, reporters, national correspondents, and web editors will make the audience aware of the election day developments, both on air and on all bTV platforms.

 

The presenter Viktoria Petrova will welcome the first hours of the vote with a special election studio "Local elections 2023: For your place". In bTV's studio complex 1, her interlocutors will be guests and analysts, who will comment on the beginning of the election race and the voting of party leaders on the spot.

 

Morning newscasts at 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, presented by Maria Vankova, will inform viewers about the most important moments of the voting day. At 12:00, bTV will broadcast an extended newscast with presenters Viktoria Goteva-Dimitrova and Ivaylo Vezenkov. The two will summarize how the election of mayors and municipal councilors is progressing at this hour, with many live reports from bTV correspondents in the country. A little later, at 15:30 and 18:00, bTV will offer extraordinary newscasts with Yuksel Kadriev. The central newscast on that day will start as usual at 19:00 with presenters Viktoria Petrova and Yuksel Kadriev.

 

At 17:50 is the start of a special edition of the “Face to Face” program, which will continue until the central newscast. The presenter Tsvetanka Rizova will welcome guests and interlocutors from sociology and politology who will comment and outline the attitudes for the first election results.

 

At 19:30 will be the start of the evening election studio "Local Elections 2023: For Your Place". The presenters Maria Tsantsarova and Zlatimir Yochev, Ivan Georgiev and Lilyana Boyanova will present the exit poll results, predictions, first reactions and comments from the political formations until 00:00.
