At an official ceremony yesterday, May 19, 2022, the PR Prize 2022 award were given, which recognize the best communication campaigns of the past year. bTV Media Group won the gold in the category "Media Communication Project", with "The Good Example - Support for Victims in Ukraine" and was awarded 2nd place for the brand activation with augmented reality in "The Voice of Bulgaria - See me on stage! “. The competition is held for the 22nd consecutive year and is organized by the Bulgarian Public Relations Society (BPRS).
The competition categories in which PR practitioners competed this year are 14 in number, including corporate and socially responsible campaigns, launching a new product or service, digital communications, events and more. Established in 2001 by the oldest organization of PR specialists in Bulgaria, BPRS, the competition is one of the most recognizable formats among communication experts and the only one that requires protection of the campaign before a jury of proven professionals. This year's PR Prize was held under the title "The Power of Words. Words of Power ”and the Bulgarian Public Relations Society shared that the number of projects is 78, implemented by companies, agencies, NGOs and institutions.
"We are extremely happy and grateful for the award we receive for The Good Example project. The war surprised everyone and we had to mobilize in a flash and do what we do best, namely unite. For the first time, the Bulgarian national media managed to support 7 of the largest non-governmental organizations in an extremely short period of time. "With the power of words and timely action, we have helped our partners reach more people, arouse the desire for empathy among the people and raise the necessary funds for both the victims in Ukraine and the refugees arriving here," said Janeta Diadovska, Marketing Director of bTV Media Group.
