bTV kicks off its coverage of the election campaign with a special studio program. On March 23 at 20:00, the TV will air the themed studio program “Elections 2026: Bulgaria Decides,” hosted by Svetoslav Ivanov and Zlatimir Yochev, with the evening’s highlight being the impressive 3D mapping show “Direction.” In a combined live broadcast from bTV’s special studio and Knyaz Alexander I Square in Sofia, the audience will be immersed in a remarkable, large-scale television event. The historic facade of the National Gallery | The Palace will be transformed into an open-air stage. Through light, imagery, and sound, the building will “come to life” to tell the story of the elections that have shaped Bulgaria’s development - from the founding of the state to the present day - as well as the elections that lie ahead for the country’s future. Sofia residents and visitors will be able to watch the event live in front of the art museum's iconic building, as well as on TV, from 20:00 to 22:00. Admission is free.

“The upcoming elections in Bulgaria are a choice for the path forward. We will tell the story in a compelling way to draw people’s attention to the strength of the Bulgarian people and the choices they have faced throughout the centuries of their development. We believe that an active society is the foundation of a strong democracy, which is why we naturally link this message to our news and current affairs programming, through which we will offer in-depth, objective, and high-quality coverage of the parliamentary elections,” said Ralf Bartoleit, CEO of bTV Media Group.

bTV’s special election studio, “Elections 2026: Bulgaria Decides,” hosted by Svetoslav Ivanov and Zlatimir Yochev, will focus on the voters’ voices and the issues that will shape the political and social landscape in the coming months. Together with their guests - political scientists, sociologists, and analysts - the two hosts will seek answers to what Bulgarians want today, what their greatest concerns are, and what their expectations are for the future government. The program will feature five thematic segments: a presentation of new national and regional sociological data from the agencies “Market Links” and “Alfa Research,” analysis of the country’s economic outlook, political commentary, expert assessment of the election process for Parliament 52, as well as a review of the geopolitical situation in the context of current military conflicts.

In its coverage of the election campaign “Elections 2026. Bulgaria Decides,” bTV Media Group focuses on the real issues, priorities, expectations, and public attitudes toward the future model of governance. The media will seek out essential information on the most important topics - the economy, foreign and domestic security, healthcare, education, social services, and European and international politics.
