CME Introduces Changes in Senior Management at bTV to Accelerate Growth and Digital Transformation

Ralf Bartoleit Named New CEO of bTV Media Group

Sofia – 23 December - Central European Media Enterprises (CME) announces senior management changes at bTV Media Group EAD (bTV) in order to accelerate growth and digital transformation. bTV supervisory board voted to appoint Ralf Bartoleit as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of bTV effective 1 January 2023. Martin Svehlak will continue as bTV’s executive director responsible for news, digital, and online. Lubos Jetmar will return to Prague, handing over all responsibilities in overseeing Bulgarian market operations to Dušan Švalek, Chief Operating Officer of CME and current member of bTV supervisory board. Lubos will work with Ralf and Dusan to ensure continuity and a smooth transition.

Ralf Bartoleit has over 20 years of senior management experience at ProSieben Sat.1 Media SE (ProSieben). In particular, he brings a wealth of digital experience from leadership positions at PlutoTV in Los Angeles, and maxdome and Joyn in Munich, some of ProSieben’s most significant digital projects.
