CME Sends Dedicated Correspondent to Brussels

CME Media Services (CME), owner of bTV Media Group, announces that on March 1, 2022, it will be sending a dedicated correspondent to Brussels. Hata Sassmanova, a current affaires and foreign affaires correspondent from CME’s TV Nova in the Czech Republic will be re-locate to Brussels and offer on the ground coverage for all of Europe’s biggest stories. All five of CME’s news teams will use the CME correspondent to cover news of national and European interest.

“CME demands excellence from our news teams, but also supports and provides needed investments so our teams continue being the most trusted source of news in Bulgaria. Having a dedicated correspondent in Brussels that all five stations can share is another example of the innovation that our owner brings to our viewers,” said Anton Hekimian, bTV News director.

 

“It’s a huge challenge and honor to be going to Brussels, not just for the Czech Republic’s TV Nova, but for the entire CME team. I’m excited to learn about the issues that matter the most to our viewers in all five countries,” said new CME Correspondent in Brussels Hata Sassmanova.

Hata Sassmanova studied mass communications in Prague and worked as an on-camera TV reporter for TV Seznam and Seznam News. She has been with Czech TV Nova since 2018 and has covered primarily foreign affaires and domestic politics. Ms. Sassmanova also took a leading role as correspondent during the 2020 National Parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic.
