At the beginning of June, bTV celebrated its 25th anniversary on the Bulgarian media market with a large public event for its most avid fans, featuring an attractive program for children and their families. The celebrations continued with a special event for television employees featuring entertaining sports and evening activities.

To mark its 25th anniversary, the television is launching a brand campaign today, dedicated to some of the most recognizable elements of its programs. With a dynamic, modern and distinctive vision, bTV will present segments that have left a lasting impression on viewers and on Bulgarian television history over the years.

The campaign will focus on iconic moments from some of bTV's most popular shows, which have featured in its main programming schedule. The visual narrative begins in an evening studio and takes viewers through a variety of formats, including cooking competitions for professional and amateur chefs, strength and strategy reality shows, talent shows, music battles, programs that preserve Bulgarian traditions, romantic shows, quiz shows, and many more titles that complement the media's rich portfolio.

The advertising clip is a celebration for the senses, inviting viewers to dance to the rhythm of their favorite show. Entertainment, diversity and serious journalism, as well as Bulgarian TV series, are inextricably linked to the history of bTV, one of the most-watched TV channels. The video also features one of the first symbols of television - a cute short-haired brown dachshund, which has long been part of the channel's packaging and intro ad, as well as the mascot of all green initiatives - Zelenko.

“Over 25 years on air, bTV has produced hundreds of programs and formats featuring many beloved television personalities, setting standards as an established brand and television station. It is at the heart of introducing some of the most memorable and authentic programs on Bulgarian television and continues to evolve with each season and world premiere that reaches Bulgarian viewers. With this campaign, we want to share our celebration with people and tell them that we continue to support them and their stories and causes without losing our identity or mission,” Janeta Diadovska, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications, shares.

The advertising clip was created by director Dragomir Sholev (Drago), cameraman Boris Slavkov and the production company Positive Possum. They won the image campaign competition with their bold vision and creative interpretation. Georgi Abrashev, the production company's co-founder, assembled a team of some of the best professionals in the industry to recreate the essence of television in just 60 seconds. Milen Dankov, one of the biggest names in the industry who has worked with stars such as Roushi, Maria Ilieva, Grafa and Poli Genova, was entrusted with the choreography. Alex Dragova plays the lead role, taking us through each conceptual scene with her beautiful dance and referencing the content of the television channel. The rights to the song "I Like the Way You Move" by Body Rockers have been purchased, the music arrangement is by Kaloyan Dimitrov - Kalata, and the performance is by Nikolay Vodenicharov - Niketsa.

In 2000, bTV became the first private national television station in Bulgaria. Since then, it has not only informed and entertained, but also made history, becoming an integral part of the lives of millions of Bulgarians. Today, 25 years later, bTV continues to connect people through the power of real, human stories; beloved on-air personalities; quality journalism; and entertaining content that unites and entertains.

Very soon, the media group will unveil a brand-new graphic design for its flagship channel, bTV, as part of its vision for media development and engagement with audiences of all ages in Bulgaria. bTV remains a leader in the media industry, looking to the future while honoring its past and caring for all its audiences.
