bTV's current affairs program “Face to Face” with the established and beloved host Tsvetanka Rizova continues with a new analytical-commentary segment on a topical issue of the day, every weekday evening after the central bTV Newscast. The long-standing iconic journalist of bTV will seek answers from his guest to the key questions related to public affairs in the country, as well as the national and international political situation. In “Face to Face After the News”, viewers will learn more about the important public affairs story that requires context and additional perspective.

“To meet the increased demand for current affairs content, we are introducing a new prime time publicist segment, providing viewers with more analysis and commentary on hot topics from one of the most established names in Bulgarian journalism. It will be part of bTV News' trademark central newscast and will offer a short but informative discussion with an expert. Our aim is to summarize and broaden the understanding of the important social topic,“ said Ralf Bartoleit, CEO of bTV Media Group.

“With the new rubric we decided to look for a newer, more specific and focused angle on one of the topics of the day. This will give us an opportunity to develop the program, work even more closely with our colleagues at bTV News and provide viewers with the most important news of the day” - said the host Tzvetanka Rizova.

The traditional edition of „Face to Face“ will remain on the bTV schedule every weekday at 17:20. “Face to Face After the News” will air again Monday through Friday at 19:50.
