On December 14, bTV will broadcast a three-hour charity edition of the program "120 Minutes," dedicated to the cause "For the Children of Bulgaria" in support of UNICEF. Host Svetoslav Ivanov will take viewers on an emotional journey through the stories of the most vulnerable children in Bulgaria to show how joint efforts have changed their fate from "Mogilino" to today.

The special edition will show not only the emotions, but also the daily work of thousands of people, state institutions, non-governmental organizations, and UNICEF partners who together changed the lives of children and created new services for support, care, and development. In the studio, Svetoslav Ivanov will join forces with Natalia Simeonova, Poli Genova, Desi Slava, Niki Kanchev, Iliana Raeva, Elena Petrova, Veselin Marinov, and many of the faces of bTV. The host will also be supported by storyteller Kristina Gazieva and host and producer Alexandra Krasteva. Guests in the studio and viewers will be able to participate by commenting on social media and answering questions that will be asked on air.

In this special edition, bTV viewers will learn what has happened to the children from Mogilino 20 years after the charity project "The Magnificent Six." Among the stories viewers will see is that of a girl who manages to move forward thanks to "Zona Zakrila" (Safe Zone) – a place that offers protection and support to children who have suffered or witnessed violence, and their parents. The team will also tell how patronage nurses support pregnant women and mothers with young children, meet Jenna, a child with Down syndrome who is fulfilling her dream of going to school, and Vladi, one of the first babies to be taken out of the medical-social care home in Shumen when it closed 15 years ago.

“Our mission is to create meaningful content and be a trusted partner on key social issues. With this special edition of 120 Minutes in support of UNICEF Bulgaria, we are building on bTV's long-standing commitment to children - the most valuable part of our future. At this festive time of year, we invite viewers to join us for an evening of compassion and hope, sharing inspiring stories that have transformed the lives of thousands of children", said Ralf Bartoleit, CEO bTV Media Group.

“Nelson Mandela said, "There is no better way to measure the spirit of a society than by the way it treats its children." The mission of UNICEF in Bulgaria and in more than 190 countries and territories around the world is to protect children and provide them with all the love, care, and support we are capable of as a society. This is possible thanks to the generosity and support of each and every one of our donors and partners. Thank you for joining us in bringing hope for a better future for every child," said Christina de Bruin, UNICEF representative in Bulgaria.

The special edition of "120 Minutes" in support of UNICEF, entitled "For the Children of Bulgaria," will remind us that change is possible when society is united around the cause of children.

"When you change a child's life, you change the world."
