Another Award For bTV - Bilyana Gavazova With a Prize For Her Contribution to Road Safety
15 editions of the "Read the Label segment in 2018 are dedicated to traffic safety in Bulgaria

The host of the emblematic segment Read the Label and bTV News anchor Bilyana Gavazova was awarded in the "Journalist" category of the Annual Road Safety Awards for her contribution in the field.
Bilyana Gavazova dedicated 15 editions of the consumer watchdog segment "Read the label" in This Morning on bTV to the best practices in the field of traffic safety, improvement of road culture, and the prevention of traffic accidents in 2018. Among the topics that gained the most wide public response are those of the killer holes on the road, which caused an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, road rage, driving under the influence, the rights and obligations of drivers during police inspection and many others.
Appearing on Read the Label were some of the best rally pilots and instructors for safe driving in Bulgaria, including Dimitar Iliev, Rumen Dunev, Vasil Zhekov. Thanks to them, viewers of the most watched morning block in Bulgaria saw various experiments regarding the risks of high speed, hazards when driving with a phone in hand, and special tests with drunk driving for the reactions of drivers with more than 0.5 per mille alcohol content in the blood.
"Bulgarian roads also have a label, but we often fail to read it. And we fail to abide by the instructions for safe use – both we the drivers, and those who build and maintain the roads. On bTV we will continue to talk about it because this topic will always be a priority for us, "said Bilyana Gavazova after the ceremony.
Bilyana Gavazova has won many awards including Journalist of the Year of the Syndicate of Bulgarian Teachers, and the award for journalistic contribution of the Union of the Food Industry for 2017. In 2018 she was awarded the Economics in the Light prize by the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association and in the same year her segment Read the Label was awarded in the 25th Annual Awards of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for an objective presentation of the current economic topics.
