bTV Media Group Will Broadcast UEFA Champions League Matches in the Next Three Years

bTV Media Group acquired the rights for UEFA Champions League matches until 2021. Games from the most popular and highest-rated football tournament in the world, including the final matches of the two best performing teams in the spring of 2019, 2020 and 2021, will be broadcast on the channels bTV Action, Ring and at Voyo.bg. The sports editorial team of the media group will again provide additional commentary and exclusive content especially for online environment.
The interest in the Champions’ League in Bulgaria is growing over the years, proven by its excellent performance in the channels of bTV Media Group. The final game for the season 2017-2018 between Real Madrid and Liverpool, aired on May 26th on bTV Action, attracted 38,2% of the 18-49 audience, which is 12% more compared to the results of last year’s final. The interest is even higher with the young audience. More than 43% of all aged 18-34 (with 22% more than last year) followed the third consecutive victory of Real Madrid in the fight for the most valuable club trophy. bTV Action was the most watched TV channel on the evening of May 26th among all target audiences.
