bTV gained another recognition. News reporter Mariya Vankova was honored for her work as a journalist by the Union of Bulgarian Lawyers.

The reason for the award was her investigation into the hospital in Dupnitsa, where a series of violations were found. The director managed the medical establishment with a fake diploma, and after a series of reports he pleaded guilty and signed an agreement with the prosecution.

Maria Vankova received the award at the Constitution Day ceremony in the presence of many lawyers, magistrates and attorneys.

"You, the lawyers, are guardians of the written rules and principles on which society operates. As a journalist I have the opportunity to touch only the surface of what you are doing. Thank you for your appreciation and congratulatiomns on your happy holiday", Vankova said.
