bTV continued the trend to attract the largest audience in all content genres in April, according to *GARB. The channel’s entertainment and news programs in primetime occupied the leading positions in the viewership chart for yet another month. The Voice of Bulgaria retained its top position with 47% of all viewers every Sunday evening. Again, it was the most watched TV show also by the viewers aged 18-34 and 18-49. The other primetime entertainment pillars of bTV - Home Makeover, The Comedians and Friends, Wife Swap, MasterChef Bulgaria, and the fiction titles Mother and Capital Hillbillies, also attracted the greatest number of viewers in their timeslots, proving the success of the channel’s spring formula throughout the whole season.

In April bTV was the only TV channels with its news and current affairs programs present the top 50 chart.

bTV News at 7 pm and bTV Reporters preserved their unchallenged leadership in primetime. The rest of the bTV newscasts – at 5 pm, at 23,30 and at noon - are also among the most watched programs for last month.

The top current affairs programs in April, facing no competition, were Face to Face, 120 Minutes, This Morning, Before Noon and the Sunday edition of This Saturday and Sunday.

Among the most watched local entertainment programs broadcast on bTV in April were also Paparazzi, Slavi’s Show, Karbovski: Second Plan, Marmalade, Wanted, and others.

bTV increased its share to 36,3% of the entire audience last month, and bTV Cinema, bTV Comedy, bTV Action, bTV Lady and RING reaffirmed their combined leading position among the thematic channels.
