Ralf joined CME Group end of 2022 and is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of bTV Media Group in Bulgaria since January 2023.

Previously, Ralf worked for ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE - one of the leading European TV groups - where he was most recently Group Chief Special Projects Officer and responsible for the digital business of the group as Head of ProSiebenSat.1 Digital.

Before that, he held several management positions at the ProSiebenSat.1 Group where he was Managing Director of maxdome (Streaming / Video-On-Demand service), COO of the TV2Group in Hungary and Managing Director of Sat.1 - а leading German family TV channel.

With his wealth of experiences - by working for over 20 years in the media industry - he is an expert in tv management, digitalization, news & content development, as well as major corporate transformations and new business development.

He started his career as a journalist and foreign press correspondent in Moscow for the German Press Agency („dpa“) and as the Chief Political Editor for FAZ.net, the online portal of the German „Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung“ newspaper.

He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Sankt Gallen (Switzerland) and a Master‘s in Eastern European History from the University of Hamburg (Germany). He also participated in IESE‘s Advanced Management Program in Media & Entertainment in New York and Barcelona.
